Available Conveyor Options
Footing
Swivel lockable casters are an option and the standard is a stainless steel body with a 100mm diameter nylon wheel. |

Motors
Conveyors can be supplied with drive options of SEW Eurodrive, Stroter hydraulic, etc.* Some of these options are outlined in the chart below. In most cases the standard drive option is chosen. However Carrysmart will fit the conveyor with almost any customer specified drive motor. |

Notes:
(1) Other speed ranges are available. Fixed speed drives can also be supplied to be controlled by a Variable Frequency Drive (confirm required belt speed at time of inquiry).
(2) These units are controlled by a built in Variable Frequency Drive and wider speed ranges can be achieved by operating at lower and higher frequencies.
Low frequency inputs may require a forced air blower on the motor.
(3) Alternative power supplies are available dependent on required belt speed and loading.
(4) Other drive suppliers are available on request.

Engineered Drive Components
When choosing the most appropriate sprocket material for your application, it is important to look at the conditions under which the belt will operate. Conditions such as abrasion, corrosion, high/low temperature variations, surrounding temperature, type of process performed, etc. all have an impact on sprocket selection.
Available material types include:
Type 303 stainless steel – which is highly recommended for all applications, especially in food processing industries because it is approved for direct contact with food.
Polyacetal plastic – usually preferred for light loads where the operating temperature range is limited to between 0°F and 125°F, and is also approved for food processing applications.
Blanks are used on drives and idler shafts. When used on the same shaft with drive sprockets, blanks should be the same diameter as the root diameter of the sprockets and made of the same material. Blanks may also be used in other areas such as reverse bends.
