Introducing our Slim Profile drive components
CompactGrid's patented design provides processors with a more efficient option for moving smaller products through operations that require maximum carrying support, but still need lightweight, open, and easy to clean carrying surfaces. This belt was designed specifically to replace many competitive offerings in both plastic modular and metal balanced weave designs.
Equally important in today's economy, CompactGrid was also designed with total cost in mind. Its 70% open area, light belt weight and unique construction translates into savings in both water and energy. Also, the belt is always metal detectable so there is no need for special add-ins and associated added costs.
Now with the introduction of our SlimProfile drive components we have added yet another level of cost savings to this system. The SlimProfile drive components are manufactured in a width of 10mm (approximately 3/8”) and are available in the same diameters as our original CompactGrid drive components. This slim design is not only less costly then our standard components for this belt, but they are easier and faster to install and align on your shaft. These modifications also reduce the installation time required which results in even more cost savings.
